The Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) event held on July 27 in Mumbai celebrated the great achievements in the Hindi entertainment industry, with a focus on web films and series to be released in 2023. The event recognized exceptional talent in different categories such as acting, content creation and technical skills. It was aimed at honoring individuals and teams who have contributed significantly to the advancement and success of digital storytelling in the Indian film industry.
Among the key winners, it was Sonakshi Sinha who won the Acting Excellence (Female) Award for her role in Roar, while Suvinder Pal Vicky won the Acting Excellence (Male) Award for Kohra. Vijay Verma won the award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for Roar, and Mona Singh won the award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role for Made in Heaven. Jubilee was a big winner, winning awards for Costume Design, Casting Ensemble, Writing and Best Performance in a Drama Series of the Year.

Shahid Kapoor won the Best Male Actor award for the web series Farzi. The awards also highlighted the importance of behind-the-scenes talents, who play a vital role in the quality and impact of web films and series.
