  JAIPUR | Five days going Jaipur international film Festival [JIFF] is going to add a glorious chapter in the world of CINEMA at 4:30 PM on 7th January at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Jaipur. It’s going to be the first film festival, where awards are declared prior to the screenings, and winning films would be awarded at the occasion of the Opening Ceremony itself. Through this novel attempt, film enthusiasts would be able to get the options to watch the best films of their choices at INOX, GT Central [located at Malviya Nagar, Jaipur] informs JIFF Founder Director Hanu Roj. JIFF is celebrating its 14th birthday this year and people would be able to entertain themselves by watching their favorite films. On 7th January from 4:30 PM at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh, Niranjan Arya - Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Robert Eugen Popa, Film Director from Romania and  Maryam Pirband, Film Actress and Director from USA would be the guests at the opening ceremony. On this special occasion, dignitaries from the world of art & culture would be present including H.E. Carlos Polo - Ambassador of Peru in India, Padma Shri S Shakir Ali, Padma Shri Tilak Geetai, and numerous directors, producers, and scriptwriters.Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sent a congratulatory note for the success and organization of JIFF 2022. While welcoming the filmmakers and delegates coming from India and abroad. A total of 279 films from 52 countries would be screened. All off-line mode films would be screened at INOX, GT Central [screen 6 and screen 7] from 10 AM to 10 PM. All COVID rules and protocols would be followed.  Noted Hindi – Urdu Writer Javed Siddiqi would be honored with Life Time Achievement AwardJaved Siddiqi, a widely known screenplay and dialogue writer would be honored with Jaipur International Film Festival’s Life Time Achievement Award. Born in 1942, in Rampur, Javed Siddiqi has earned great name and fame by writing screenplays and dialogues for more than 60 super hit films in his career. He’s been honored with the prestigious Film Fare Award twice, in 1994 for super hit film Baazigar and in 1996 for blockbuster Dil Wali Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
